I found a great selection of Halloween costumes at Torrid.com. Torrid is the classier big sister of Hot Topic. They have great stuff, and they only carry plus sizes. I love this witch costume. At $59.99 it is one that would last a few seasons.
Plus Size Wedding Dress
There are a lot of sites that feature plus size wedding dresses. Most of them feature the same 3 dresses over and over. It is hard to come up with something unusual. I was shopping around at zaftique.com
and I found this great dress. It would be great for a less than formal affair. I like the empire waist, because the flow of the fabric looks good on almost anyone.

I like this dress. It says it comes in juniors plus sizes. I am not sure about the measurements on this one, but I know that sometimes I can fit into the juniors plus if I go up a few sizes. I found this at Kaboodle.
A little Gothic Fashion
Sometimes I am digging the more Gothic fashions. Mainly my teenage daughter is into it. Being a chubby girl as well, it can be a challenge finding things that she likes, that I am willing to let her wear in public. I think all moms go through that fight, but I think maybe it is harder with this generation, because the styles have started to become more and more trashy. Even for very young girls. It is a shame, and I wonder why little girls need to dress like porn stars. For me, I just want her to be mostly covered up and to look stylish. So here is a great Goth find from Mimi’s Curvy Corner. My favorite Halloween costume
Halloween is always a tricky time for me. I love some of the adult costumes, but finding plus size ones can be a challenge. The main thing for me is to not look bad. Some of the plus size costumes I have found look like they are just large sized, but would look horrible on me. So here is my favorite Halloween find. I found it at Pinup Girl Clothing. If you haven’t heard of them, please check it out. They have some great retro styled clothes, and they have a few things that are in larger sizes.
Retro-chic!
I love this store Daddy-O’s. They have some of the coolest retro and rockabilly clothes. Many of their dresses run all the way to 3XL. Check the measurements though, because some of their stuff runs small. I really enjoy just looking at all the awesome vintage clothes, without the let down of knowing that I can’t wear them.

I have to confess; I love Hello Kitty. I always have trouble finding the shirts in my size. Who knew that Hot Topic has some cool t-shirts in larger sizes?
